Ti-Tree Resort is our little slice of heaven on earth situated in Port Douglas Tropical North Queensland.

Just an hours drive north of Cairns (67km) along one of the most beautiful scenic coastal roads in Australia and you will reach your destination Port Douglas and Ti-Tree Resort where everything is not to far from your door.

Port Douglas is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the wonder of the world heritage Daintree Rainforest, both of these natural icons are at your doorstep. Ti-Tree Resort is the perfect place to stay and explore the natural beauty surrounding you.

Ti-Tree Resort is located 3.5km from the main street of Port Douglas a short 5 min drive. We are 350m from famous 4 Mile Beach, if you feel like a leisurely beach stroll you can walk right up to the main street of Port Douglas. Close by is Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary.

If golfing is a favourite past-time you are in luck as Ti-Tree is situated between both the Links course and the course at the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas. Both courses are approximatley 1km from Ti-Tree.

There is also a convenient shopping center opposite our front gates. These shops include Bottle Shop, Café, Fish n Chip T/a shop, Video Store and Ice-creamery, Doctors Surgery.

Getting to TiTree Resort:

Driving North from Cairns turn off highway into Port Douglas, at the second roundabout turn right into Barrier Street and you cannot miss our sign, we are opposite the shop.

Local Public Transport:

Port Douglas has taxi’s and the local buses pick up from the front of Ti-Tree Resort approximately every 15mins from 6.00am to 12.00am every day. Making it very easy to get around. Local bus service in Port Douglas runs in a continous loop from town to Habitat stopping at all major accommodation places including Ti-Tree Resort.

What to bring:

Clothing should be loose and comfortable, walking shoes, swimming gear, don’t forget the camera and sunglasses. A hat and sunscreen is suggested as well.

Climate:

Port Douglas climate is almost perfect with sunshine, cool refreshing breezes and warm seas for most of the year.

Being in the tropics Port Douglas has two main seasons;‘wet season’ which is summer, November – April, this is the season of more balmy temperatures and higher rainfall and humidity, you have hot days with showers of rain in the afternoon. ‘Dry’ season which is winter, May – October. This the perfect time of year!! This season is filled with warm temperatures, low rainfall and lots of sunshine.
